Today's Prayer ...
Lord, we thank you for your goodness … we thank you for your kindness … we thank you for your peace … we thank you for choosing us before the foundation of the world to “become holy and without blemish” … we thank you for marking us with your love from the beginning … we thank you because “you have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ Jesus” … we thank you for adopting us to be your sons and daughters, just because you wanted to … we thank you because you poured your abundant grace on us … we thank you because through the blood of Christ we have salvation and forgiveness of sins … we thank you because you have given us all wisdom and spiritual understanding … we thank you for being born again … born of your word … your truth.
Lord, thank you for ordaining that we would be the first to trust in you and to honor you … and to glorify you with that trust. God, we thank you for sealing us with your Holy Spirit … and the promise of our inheritance … thank you for revealing yourself that we might know you … and in knowing you obtain eternal life. Lord, we thank you opening up our understanding and showing us why you called us to bear your image.
We thank you for your great, mighty and skillful power working us each day … enabling us to do your will … to fulfill your purpose … to do achieve all that you have called us to achieve … enabling us to love beyond our own mind’s comprehension … to see through our own pain beyond the faults us others … and meet their needs. We thank you because you have given us dominion … and because we are the body of Christ … you have seated us in a place of honor … you have put all things under our feet… and placed us “far above all angels and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come.
So, father we thank you for victory over every circumstance that you have orchestrated in our lives … we thank you for your word tells us that we are winners. Father we thank you because through your love we are more than conquerors … that is why we are agree with your word and are “persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor empires nor armies nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor anything else created shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (Ephesians chapter 1; Romans 8:37-39)
